Navigating the Full Text

Full Text

The Full Text page contains the text of the poems in LionHeart.

You can access the Full Text page in one of two ways:

  • by performing a search and then selecting a poem or volume title hyperlink in the Context of Matches.
  • by selecting a poem or volume title hyperlink in the Table of Contents.

A header is displayed in bold at the top of each Full Text page giving the title of the current poem and the title of the volume in which it is contained. This is then followed by the main body of the text of the poem.

Navigating the Full Text

The following icons provide flexible and easy to use navigation of the Full Text:

Text Only icon Text Only: Opens a plain text version of the poem in which no icons are displayed and which you can print out or copy and paste to send to someone. To return to the Full Text from the Text Only page, you should use the relevant feature of your browser (e.g. Netscape users should click Back).
First Hit icon First Hit: Scrolls directly to the first occurrence of your search word.
Hit icon Hit: Marks every occurrence of your search word(s) in the text.
Previous Hit Previous Hit: Appears where relevant before a Hit icon and takes you directly to the previous occurrence of your search word.
Next Hit Next Hit: Appears where relevant after a Hit icon and takes you directly to the next occurrence of your search word.
